I bought a Rect-O-Verb used and it seems somewhat old. I'm wondering if it's a series I or II. How can you tell the difference? How much different are they sound-wise and in what ways? Any help greatly appreciated.

If the reverb controls are on the front it is series II, if its on the back it is series. As for how they aren't different I have always heard that older ones had a better gain channel and the new ones had better cleans. I've never actually played an old one so I don't know if that is accurate.

Ok thanks for that, reverb controls are in the front so I guess it's a series II.

On that note the reverb doesn't work on it either, anyone know how I would fix that?
