i just modded my strat to have the seven sound switch. it sounds awesome. it was really easy and took like 10 minutes.

what it does is gives you an on switch for your neck pickup. when the switch is off, the 5 way switch does exactly what it should do, and the mod does not effect it.

when you switch mini switch on, it allows you to turn on your neck pickup on when in your bridge selection, and to turn on your neck while in the middle/bridge selection.

this lets you have all seven selections!

Switch position
1 neck on
2 neck/middle on
3 middle on
4 middle/bridge on
5 bridge on

with mini switch engaged
4 neck/middle/bridge on (all three pickups)
5 neck/bridge on (not available on standard strats)

over all, this was a really easy mod to do and sounds really great and i have a really good wiring diagram for it so if anyone needs it or has any questions feel free to ask me about it.

I've done this before. Really useful on mine, I could squeeze out more AC/DC like tones.

The pictures are going to have to come a little later, i have to run to meet someone for lunch. but i did attach the wiring diagram. overall, about $5 in materials and 10 to 20 minutes to install it, it really is a great mod
