Half of them are not metal, they are hardcore, but not to get into a genre fight call them what you wish, but I think Australia lacks any good Thrash/Death/Melodeath/Black(lol) metal bands, Not saying that there are none, there are a few really good ones, but not many.
Be'Lakor are really good though.

Be'Lakor are really good though.

Actually 2 of those are metalcore, the other 2 are deathcore, closer to death metal. The rest are metal.

I'm addicted to 8 Foot Sativa from NZ at the moment. Their new single Sleepwalkers is killer.

Australia does have metal bands...its more 99% percent of them are utter **** - See Parkway Drive. We know how to produce hard rock bands thought - Jet, The Living End, The Vines, Silverchair etc.

I saw Carpathian and I was like "Does he mean Carpathian Forest? Lulz they're from Norway."

Apparently Carpathian is a hardcore band, not metal.

Damn, I haven't, they don't tour enough, at least when I'm available to see them. I've listened to Hobb's before and they're not bad, but it's even harder to get a hold of their songs legally or not than Mortal Sin.
