Zzyzyx Road - Stone Sour - Mostly the images it conjures in my mind when I hear it.

I'll Be Over You - Toto - High School...meh

All The Time In The World, How Mighty Is The Silence - Lowen & Navarro - written after they found out Eric Lowen has ALS...

How To Save A Life - The Fray - only after I read the lyrics...
"If you can hum it, you can play it!"

Probably already named, but the saddest song I have heard is probably "Tears in Heaven" by Clapton.

The Saddest Song-Streetlight Manifesto

I wanted to say it!

I don't know any that make me sad really,
but "A Better Place, A Better Time" by Streetlight was really touching when I read the lyrics. And "Taste of Ink" by thet Used made/makes me want to cry.

The incurable tragedy parts 1 through 3 - Into eternity.

Even sadder seeing as how they were written for the guitarists 2 friends and father who died before this album came out.

Edit: Winter - Joshua Radin is also very sad. especially if you've seen that episode of scrubs

Yesterdays by Switchfoot really got to me. But then again, every time have trouble falling asleep and I am listening to my iPod, I get super sentimental/nostalgic over lots of things.

That intro with the bass pickup is so powerful. Like the first time I heard it, I was like, "Damn, that is so f*cking perfect."

It's in the key of D, um minor. The saddest of all keys, it makes anyone who hears it weep instantly. The song is called 'Lick my Love Pump.'

nice.

Not to be a dick, but there is no such thing as the "saddest key ever" or the "most br00tlz tone ever". A key is a key. Some may sound better than others, but the space between the notes is still the same.

The End- The Doors
I'm Your Captain- Grand Funk Railroad

not necessarily sad, but VERY powerful...Love, Reign O'er Me by The Who
also, Love Is Coming Down and The Song Is Over by The Who..

most Doors songs are very sad, too.
John Entwistle is my God. RIP.

If we're talking about self-pity, Creep by Radiohead is one the saddest songs for me. And I don't mean to sound like an angsty teenager but I think Cemetery Gates by Pantera is sad mainly because it makes me think of Dimebag.

"well its the saddest song you'll ever heaaaarrrr..."

I was justr about to say that
seriously, i'd say Out of Reach - The Get Up Kids or
Guernica - Brand New
92% percent of the teen population would be dead if Hollywood said it wasn't cool to breathe anymore. Put this in your signature if you are one of the 8% who would be laughing your head off.
