I've decided to settle with getting an ESP, increase of budget but I hope it's worth it.

I was thinking of have my own custom made one since they have that feature. But I need help with a few features:

First, fingerboard radius; I have the options of 400, 305, 240 and 170 but I'm totally stumped as to what they mean.

Second, recommended ESP shape? I'm really going for the F series shape

They're too common, Not as common as other guitar, but the shapes are common.

Are you sure you want a custom ESP?

Anyway, tilt back is probably the headstock at an angle, and the fingerboard radius is how 'round' the finger board is. I have no idea how the numbers apply to this though.

On your current guitar, if you like the feel of the neck give them the specs and they should be able to copy it i guess.

the numbers i would assume are the total length AROUND the neck, the shorter being the smaller. i'd say go with 305, thats probably what mine is, but eh, to each their own.

and how DARE you say they are ugly bucketmark!!!!

To the OP, I would suggest ordering your custom through an ESP dealer. It sounds like you're trying to do it by yourself online. Dealers are better suited to answer your questions. The post by Jiro was a good one. My dealer actually had sample necks of all sizes/radius that I could actually handle.

I think you need to print out and bring the online form to the dealer anyway
