so i got a gift certificate to sweetwater.com and ive decide to get a distortion/overdrive pedal. Since its an online cite im not able to try either out, but ive looked at he ones within my price range and decided on either the digitech hot head or the bad monkey. Have any of you guys ever used one, and if so, which is better in your opinion. Theyre both the same price. Btw i use a HSS strat and a vox ad15vt and i play classic rock/metal.

Those are pretty generic pedals that ANY store has, so you can definitely try them out at a local shop. Personally, I think they're a bit cheap, and you get what you pay for, but that could just be me.

The Bad Monkey is a decent overdrive, but you won't have much use for it with your current amp.
