We all know that they show an incredibly strong conservative bias, which is wrong. Not because I disagree with republicans on most things, but because news stations should not show a bias, its called the news, not the our opinion on the president show.

Obama hasn't even been in office for a week yet, hasn't really done anything but look how much they are already criticizing him. They treated Bush like Jesus though.

On the contrary, he's done a lot for being in office for so little time.

This would make more sense as a group.

I love Fox News. Not because it's a good news station, but because of the ridiculous things they do news specials on. They did one on Anon once, I think.

All the news is slanted, my friend, get used to it.

You have to hear it all and make your own decision on what reality is.

While I agree FOX is slanted to the right, the way the MSNBC and CNN were fapping to Obama was a disgusting show of a lack of integrity.

But I am still glad he's the President- he's so ****ing cool.

OP has no idea what he's talking about. fox news is pretty much the only news station that isn't full of liberal propaganda anymore. they're also not afraid to tell it how it is; even if how it is isn't how people want it to be.

IMO they're the only quality news source out there anymore.

When you watch any news source you have to keep in mind that they are there not to inform you, but to make money. The popular vote this year was like 48 to 52. That statistic can lead us to believe that 48% of people are republicans. By showing such a republican bias, they attract nealry half the population. ABC, MSNBC, they all do the same **** with the democrats instead. Clearly fox news is an intelligent organization, they have little to no competition.

Over simulation, perception deception, Comcast digital Satan
The fox has a bushy tail, and Bush tells lies in foxtrots, so I don't know what's real

Although I love Obama to death and think he will take this country in a wonderful direction based on truth and justice, the sad truth is that the Media is the one that elects the President through manipulation of their viewers

The best way to hide away from biasness is to also look further away than mainstream media, just in case you're not seeing something.

The worse thing is though, many won't claim to be unbiased but Fox does when it's one of the worst of the lot.

They're all owned by media conglomerates, how the hell could they be extremely left-wing.

Are people really this stupid? Of course Fox leans to the right, but what about CNN, who leans to the left? In fact, pretty much every non-Fox News station leans to the left. What are you complaining about? Live and let be.

The same way Fox can be extremely right wing.

I don't really understand why people are defending major news networks. They all suck. The old media has been dying since the turn of the century, and it will continue to deflate. They have always been stupidly biased, but now there's the internet, which has as much bias as you're willing to put effort into.

That's not an answer to my question.

How do you figure that a primarily money-making venture, owned by a business, is extremely left-wing.

Assuming that by "extremely left-wing" you mean the actual left-wing, socialists communists, anarchists etc.

If you mean pro-Obama I'm just gonna laugh.

Well, obviously Fox News is not a charity; they are a business as well, and if I remember correctly, have better ratings the all of the other three news stations put together.

Their political association has nothing to do with whom they are owned by.

By left-wing, I mean modern American liberalism. By right-wing, I mean modern neo-conservatism. My personal opinion of both parties is very low, but that is irrelevant.

Owned by a business= pro-business bias, simple as.

Fox News just happens to be owned by a business owned by a crazy old man with an additional agenda to boot.

Quote by imicius
By left-wing, I mean modern American liberalism.

Then the phrase "extreme left-wing" has no place in this discussion.

EDIT: but to be honest, no news stations can be trusted 100%. they are ALL opinionated and biased, there is no way to convey news 100% objectively.

i hate fox news, they basically killed video journalism by spreading their ultra conservative bias message, other stations saw their ratings and followed suit whether it be in a radical liberal way or a bat**** crazy conservative way, radicalism sells, a lot more than honest reporting especially.
