I have been wondering whether you put the wah pedal on the left or right of the distortion pedal.

On the right of it, it sounds good, but when playing on the low E string it sounds a little dull.

On the left of it, there is so much wah that when the pedal is down, you can barely hear the guitar.

Generally which side do you put the wah pedal on?

I am learning more about rigs. I am starting with my pedal rig, and I am needing to buy a few more pedals to finish it off.

It should be on the right always... otherwise it kind of kills your distorted signal an the sound loses a lot of quality and tone

i prefer having it before the distortion... I guess that is the most used way to.. But do try it the other way around to... See what works for you...

do what sounds best. the best thing about guitar is that there are no rules. there a good ideas and bad ideas, there is a traditional way to do things, but there are no rules.

I'll stick with it on the right then.

There was too much "wah" when it was on the left.
