For my audition into college, I need to do something known as "Improvise over blues changes in F", and I'm not exactly sure what that means.

Can anyone here explain that to me?

Also, I need to sight read a single line melody from Bebop Literature, I know what sight reading is, but will that be hard?

Thank for very much in advanced.

It probably means that you are to improvise over some kind of a 12 bar blues.

Sight reading Bebop literature isn't necessarily that hard, but don't be surprised if the sheet music contains lots of sharps and flats.
"And everybody knows that you live forever
Ah, when you've done a line or two"
