alright keep this short and simple i if i buy a guitar that has a floyed rose and string thru body can i replace the floyed bridge with a tune o matic

Which guitar is it?

No you can't. Well yes you can, but the routing would make it ugly as christ.

Why the hell would you do that? Get a neck-thru body fixed bridge guitar.

thats the problem there are some really good guitars that only come with floyed rose tremelos and not tune o matic bridges which kinda sucks for me

Gilbert did it with his white PGM, if you look closely. If you really want to do it, you'll need to paint inside the cavity to tidy up the looks.

you are definitely confused man. you cant have both at once, it doesnt work like that. it sounds to me like you dont like floyd rose trems and want to buy a guitar with a tune o matic bridge. if you find a guitar with the floyd that you really like but dont want it to move you can block it and essentially it becomes a hard tail.
