I bought a 15 inch PA speaker and was wondering will this blow my dsl head up its 8 ohms and I bought a gold plated audio cable to connect the 2. Will this blow up my amp head.

What's the power rating of the speaker? What's the impedance of the head? You need to use speaker cable to hook up head and cabs.

8 ohms and like 200 watts with 350 max

Use a speaker cable and plug into an 8 ohm out on the amp, you'll be fine. And don't triple post in 5 minutes, it's just annoying. This isn't a chat room.

I think we've passed up something here. Why would you use a PA speaker for a guitar amp? Guitar amps are meant to be run through guitar speakers.

Hah, yeah...but a PA speaker isn't going to blow his amp. And if you think about it, a mic'ed amp is going to run through a PA speaker, so it's not all bad...it's just less than ideal because you don't get a guitar speaker adding to and shaping your tone.

My point exactly, the speaker is a very important part of the overall tone.
