Well, I wasn't careful when I was cleaning my guitar before keeping it, and the case lid slammed onto the side of my guitar, and there was the first of many potential battle scars. I wasn't too concerned, as they add character.

I applied lemon oil on the ding hopefully to darken and protect it and I was just wondering if anything unfortunate would come of this.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah I guessed, but would it be harmful to the guitar, since I already applied it?

how much did you apply... ?
i've never had any experience with lemon oil on woods you're not supposed to use it on, so i can't really say...
it can't be doing any good though...

Just a drop or two on a cloth, then rub on for awhile, and rub off. Yeah I doubt it'd do anything good, but would it be doing anything bad?
