I love the mxr 10 band. If that's too much, go for the 6 band.

whats the difference between the two?

mxr 10 has ten frequency range levels you can alter, 6 band has six.

The Danelectro Fish n Chips is supposed to be a great EQ for what you pay. I haven't tried it though.

The fish'n'chips is supposedly pretty good, but the fab echo has short delay times which are only really capable of doing slapback type of delay. Just so you know.

+1

I definitely recommend the 10 band. It costs more then the 6 band and most other eq pedals but its definitely worth it.

Build Your Own Clone....

Comes with prepunched enclosure, sliders, everything you need to make the pedal...

Or, if you're feeling a bit more ambitious, you could always dremel your own and look up schematics. PM if you decide to go that route, and I could probably help you out.

Dunno if it's the same price or not, but I have the Ibanez DE7, I think it should be quite cheap, and it's pretty great for the price.
