anybody have any good ideas to help me develop different commonly used strum patterns along w/ developing a better sense of rythm? it seems like I always revert back to DDUUDU, which seems to be more a fast pased strum pattern, and this habit is really causing problems w/ trying to play different songs. Thanks!

I don't have a way of strumming, depending on the song I sometimes strum up or down, if it is with palm mute always down

you just gotta learn to flow better. just experiment with some different chords and patterns. nobody can here it so don't worry about sucking.
