Hey guys. Just bought a Boss BR-600. Works great and has awesome sound quality, but the distortion is really fuzzy. Now I am running my Boss Metalzone through as well. How can I remedy this problem but still keep a heavy, crunchy metal distortion? Thanks.

Stop using the Metal Zone.

Seriously, it IS a fuzzy pedal and it's never going to give you a crunchy sound - also it's going to sound terrible direct recorded, if you want to use the Metal Zone it has to be going through a half decent amp to compensate for the thin tone it has.

If you want decent recorded tones then you need something that will do the job, a SansAmp GT would be perfect.

Oh, and this is probably in the wrong forum...

Sorry about the wrong forum...

Thanks for the reply. My amp isn't too great but it always seems to sound good when I use the metalzone when I'm not recording.
