I had spicy mutton curry at an Indian restaurant a few days ago, and I seriously cannot stop thinking about it. It's so ****ing good!

I think I have a new favorite food....

Anyone else like Indian food?
#2
Oh yes indeed there is nothing better than a good curry.

No other food comes close.

Nowhere near.

Have you been to India? Trust me, they're better there. Actually all of Asia, and some Pacific islands as well.

I thought most Indian food is vegetarian so it can't be that much better there. Most chefs in the UK come from India so i don't see why they would be much better.

There are authentic Indian food restaurants most big citys, I know in Columbus there are a few, and the lamb curry is to die for, and Im sure its authentic

Take it from an Indian living in the UK: They definitely don't. Also, the curry that you eat in restaurant doesn't taste that much like proper curry at all. Actual curry is much, MUCH better, and bizarrely, far better for you in terms of nutritional content.
#10
Yeah, by authentic, I mean the chef has to be a brown man.

Come to think of it, India has some pretty cool stuff...Music videos, bollywood chicks, Russell Peters...
#11
Its not that its not authentic here, its just that I've found them nicer there? I've been to some quality curry restaurants here, and some average ones abroad, but in my opinion I've always found them nicer abroad. They certainly make them hotter, and nice hotter, with taste, not just blow your head off hot. May well just be me and the friend who was with me who thought that though.
#12
I heard there's no real 'curry', it's just a mix of Indian spices, the Brithish found so many spices the only practical way of exporting it was mixing them.

Canada has Russell Peters. India has Aishwarya Rai, and we'll keep her, thank you. You can keep Russell.

I'd love to go to India one day. I think i would just sit around eating, farting and drinking.

What the hell is curry, anyway?
Soon you will sit on the bench
of those who deny I have my soul
You sell a dream you create
Condemned by what you condemned before
Smooth are the words you sing down and high
Underground is your joy your laws

Please tell me that you are lieing?

What sick country do you live in where your culture denies you the curry?

I'm half indian. Get curry lots. It is very nice. Though sometimes I think its strange how different the stuff in restaurants tastes compared to the home-made stuff.

I've never been to one and I don't remember seeing any. It's probably just my state though...

It's been wayyy too long since I've had Indian food, like 8 or 9 years. I liked it then, so I'd probably love it now that I can appreciate different foods.
