well im looking for a rg style guitar which has the configuration of H-S-S or H-S-H, with a decent floyd rose (not a Edge III or Edge II, something along the lines of the Jackson Licensed Floyd Rose)

i want it to be fairly cheap (£200-£400) as then can upgrade the pickups to dimarzio's,

i liked the look of the washburn rs 980 but it is discontinued so something those lines

thanks

If you like the washburn RS980 why don't you look for it on ebay?

there's only one on ebay at the moment and i dont have the funds at this precise moment,

they are going to be very rare in England as they never got sold here,

i will look for the rg550 but im still very open to other idea's

Any.

ALL S series guitars are VERY GOOD.
Even the lowest model (S320) is a VERY good guitar.

But the s470 is HSH, whereas s320 is HH.
So go with the s470.
