Thicknesser = planer = thickness planer.

EDIT: Kind've. There's hand planer too, which are different. Also, thicknesser's cut a wood done to a specific thickness, and planers will just plane the wood. So they're basically the same, but can be different, I guess?

When hes pushing it over the top of the table thats a planer

the next shot is it coming out of a thicknesser.

oh wow he is using spanish cedar for his guitar, i have alot of that stuff in 8/4. cant wait to use it now.

I just used some it looks and sounds great but doesn't smell good and doesn't cut very good. Still I'll probably end up using it again sometime.

yeah i made a body out of it for a buddy. stuff stank real bad, i thought it cut pretty easily, its about as hard as alder.

It cuts easy just leaves a rough edge. It looks a little too much like mahogany when it's still rough, that's how I ended up getting it.
