So some research on the Tiny Terror (which I am thinking of purchasing) has informed me that the TT does not work well with pedals. Is there any particular reason why (lack of a comprehensive pre-amp EQ)?

I'm kind of a pedalhead and this would be a make or break factor.

It takes pedal pretty well in general. Some people don't like it because of the lack of an effects loop or second channel. If you want straight up rock tones, running a reverb or delay infront of the amp isn't the easiest thing to work aroud. Those things aren't important for me personally, but they're something you might want to consider.

I think the lack of eq and all that is both to make it cheaper, and shorten the signal path.
