Does anyone have any interesting music/guitar theory facts that would be quite useful for people to know, but they most likely dont know?

Like, never knew there was a pattern for all scales until 1 year of playing, i also never knew that modes were actually quite simple. I didnt know each scale degree had its own chords assigned to them (to make a simple melody and harmony match).
i didnt know that by going 1 string up, and seven semitones up, makes a perfect octave, until about 3 months ago. (been playing for 1.6years, or 1.5, 1 and a half basically)

Anyone got anymore interesting facts? try and keep it simple, buy u can add super advanced geografalian modes if u want...

Thanks!

Edit: O and if thers a thread up like this, please link it to me, thankss.

Every time you write parallel 5ths, Bach kills a kitten.

If you play a pentatonic minor scale but drink the 5th instead of flattening it, it becomes the booze scale.

I suggest not screwing with the UGer with the best name on the site.

I don't see how prostitution is going to help out your string buzz...
