Hi ive been listening to some song from children of bodom, this song is really good :

The thing is that they use the keyboard rarely.

I was wondering if someone knew about a band who uses keyboard (or violin) alot more in all theyre songs.

Im looking for almost all metal genres. But I like some speed and power in the songs, like those above.

Give Sonata Arctica a try! A great finnish power metal band who uses a lot of keyboard in their songs.

Dream Theater is probably the most obvious answer. Jason Ruddess is a hoss, even though I can't stand Dream Theater because of their singer (but that's a discussion for another thread)
