So, I have a Line 6 Toneport GX and I always used it alone, just connected to the guitar:

Guitar -> Toneport -> Computer

Is it possible to connect it to my amp (Roland Cube 60) so what I play through the amp will be recorded to my computer?

Guitar -> Cube -> Toneport -> Computer

I mean, I want to record with the Cube sound not with the Toneport presets. Is it possible?

yes my guess would be set it on no digital amp and just as clean as possible. I had guitar port so not 100% on it but in terms of it plugging in and working, yes it will.

if your amp has an output for headphones you can do that,

guitar > amp > toneport > computer

ive found that to really get your amps tone without the digital sounds, you should go into tuning mode, so that it bypasses the toneports effects, you can hear how it sounds on the recording of rattlesnake here.

for cleans i still use the built in tones though
Iceman w/ emgs
fender fmdsp65
Boss MetalZone
Fender Cybertwin
Epi LP plus top
Zoom gfx4
Death metal (sounds amazing through bass amp)
ibanez weeping demon

you can always mic up the amp if you're interested...?

EDIT:sorry, i completely forgot the GX doesn't have a mic input. apologies

^ it does exist XLR -> 1/4 cables
Inspired by Ibanez RGA321F Prestige, Gibson Les Paul Standard
Powered by CAA OD100 standard+ , Mesa 2x12
Affected by Maxon OD808, Mad Professor Deep blue delay

but would that really work using the instrument input? because whats the point in the extra mic input in the UX1 and UX2 if that is the case?

I don't know about the Cube 60, but with my Spider III 15Watt, I just run a 1/4" cable from the Phones/Record Out input to the Toneport GX if I ever want to record my amp. (But I don't because the Spider sounds awful )
