I got Dimarzio Evo's put into my S470 sometime last year, but today I just realized that the stock single coil has as much output as them and is quieter. I brought it to the local place that installed them and they said they fixed a ground wire but it change anything at all; and they said that they were installed correctly, but to be honest I don't beleive them. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I would fix this by switching the ground and live wires, right?

EDIT: Forgot about the weird Dimarzio 4 conductor wiring, how would I fix the phasing with those?
