Look what funny box the mailman brought me.

J. Craft?

*ba dum tssssh*

I was actually looking for a Horizon when I came across this on my local online fleamarket. A '06 Ibanez Prestige RGA121 in natural flat. Nothing but a few dings and some buckle rash on the neck joint. The previous owner also removed the tone pot and relocated the volume pot. I actually like it that way. The craftsmanship is amazing on this guitar. It's my first MIJ and it'll certainly not be my last. Best of all, I only paid €400 while the NOS ones still go for €750 - €850 over here.

Happy happy joy joy.

Looks nice.

Apart from the inlays - standard dots look boring.

Sexy, I've never felt the urge to get a non-trem Ibanez as my fixation with their great necks, quality and feel includes their great trems and I can get all in one, but it still looks stellar.

Yeah, I would've prefered offset dots or no inlays at all. Not complaining though.

You do understand I WILL have to swim that tiny bit of sea that separates our housings, just to rob you out of that one, right?

Also, we have a local online flea-market?

Nice work mate, the RGA121s are great guitars, though they really come to life with a pickup swap. Absolute steal for the price!

How nice does it play?
If it plays as good as it looks, then I'd have to get one

Grats on the find! It looks like it plays wonderfully, and +1 for finding it natural and not one of the horrid finishes that came after it.

Crushed ruby? No thanks Ibanez

Well, on a worldwide base you could call it local.

I've read EMG's require routing on this guitar, so I'll probably settle for a set of high output passives.

Everybody has a different taste in necks, but I can say the craftsmanship is immaculate. The neck feels divine.

Nice catch. What kind of bridge is that?

Love the finish.

It's an Ibanez Gibraltar bridge. It's like a TOM with its tailpiece all in one. Makes for amazing sustainnnnnnnn.
