So for my music coursework I have to do a presentation on a genre of my choise from 1950-the present day. I chose to do prog but I need some suggestions of a song to play on guitar. I thought maybe YYZ or Tom sawyer by Rush but I also considered some Pink Floyd or Mars Volta. One things for sure, I am NOT playing 2112! Does anyone have any other suggestions?

EDIT: I Cum Blood is not prog!

What about the Trees by Rush?

That would be quite good as it has a few styles of playing and a few time signatures so would show your skill in playing it as well as being a perfect example of Prog at its' best!

Good call.

By the way, it can't be longer than 5 minutes but the shorter the better!

^Better Idea. The teacher will still jizz in her pants, it will unleash (pun intended) a mountain of epic inside her, forcing her to grow male genitalia. Problem solved.
