I didn't see an All That Remains thread. So I'm making one Definitely one of my favorite bands. The new album Overcome is great. Two Weeks is probably my favorite song...followed by This Calling, Six, or Not Alone. Discuss.

two weeks is a great song to jam with somebody. this calling is also a great song but the best is the air that i breathe

Agree with pretanga, Two Weeks is alot of fun to jam to. The solo rocks too.

And Six simply rapes.

How did you not find the "only" thread?

Anyway, I like the new album and I appreciate that they're trying to go in a more melodic direction and all, Phil's got a great singing voice (I like Undone in particular, along with few other songs), but I just like their old albums more. And I don't mean the generic songs like "This Calling", I mean The Weak Willed, For Salvation, Become the Catalyst, And Death in My Arms, I Die in Degrees, basically the entire This Darkened Heart album.

It'd be amazing if, on the next album, they could pull off a combination of their newer melodic sound and heavier songs along the lines of The Weak Willed or This Darkened Heart.

Either way, I've seen them twice, once with Protest the Hero and the Acacia Strain and once with The Human Abstract and, unfortunately, Trivium.

Big fan.

All That Remains are awesome live. Phil has some of the best stage presence of any band I've seen.
