Does it really make it easier to shred on a flatter neck radius?
I noticed that Jacksons and Ibanez have 16"+ radius necks. The necks on those also seem very wide and thin. I guess tapping is easier on those necks right?

I have a 9.5 radius strat. I've always wondered how jimmy page managed to shred on the telecaster's 7.25 radius necks.

The flatter radius makes it easier for single not playing, but chord work is harder. It is easier with the wider board.

I can shred better and faster on my Ibanez, but my strat neck is more comfortable. It doesn't make much sense to me either
