I play an ESP Eclipse 2 and I generally use 11-52 guage strings tuned down to drop C. The past couple shows I've had, I've been playing along and all of a sudden my guitar is ridiculously out of tune.. at first I thought I accidentally hit the tuning pegs and detuned it. However, it only took me one look to realize the string had slipped right out of it's saddle on the bridge. Is this a common occurrence? Am I just playing too hard? Is there a way to correct this problem? Let me know any and all suggestions you may have to correct this problem because it's making an otherwise amazing guitar turn into an entirely frustrating situation. Thanks guys.

Yeah, mke the saddle deeper with a small file.
Be careful though, you don't want to leave any sharp edges or metal burrs which will then cause string breakage. A tech or luthier could do it with ease. Maybe take it to the store/shop you bought it.
