Hi All,

I'm only new here and this is my second recording ever. I cannot sing very well but try to just so the music has some accompanyment!

This is my version of the hit from 1989, I wasn't much of a fan of the song back then but it popped into my head and I sort of began trying it for a laugh but ended up recording it.

Again I don't profess to have a lot of ability but would love any constructive criticism so I can improve. It was recorded on my old Zoom MRS-4 using my LAG Autumn 300DCE my voice and a pepper shaker!

C4C of course! Thanks in advance for taking the time to listen.

The guitar sounds pretty good. You played it very well and I didn't really hear any mistakes. I can't say the same for the vocals however. You're definitely not a singer haha. It wasn't terrible it's just not quite there. The pepper shaker, to me, didn't sound in time with the song. I would say take it out.

I would actually like to record some vocals for you. I love that song and have wanted to cover it for a long time but just never felt like recording it and all that. So if you'd like to do a lil colab with it, I'd be all about it.

This is my cover of Iris. Feel free to check it out and comment if you'd like.
