My music teacher said for part of my assignment i need to choose a song do to for my band which has an awsome solo , any suggestions?

Theres probably thousands...

How about the lead intro to No one like you by scorpians
and i sit and wonder, falling under .

It would be harder for you to find an 80's song without a solo. You can pretty much take your pick of any of them.

No One Like You is a good suggestion.

It was the only task I would undertake...

...to reap the harvest that was mine

Play some Satch.
If you can do Crushing Day or Ice 9, great.
Otherwise, give Surfin' With the Alien or Satch Boogie a try.
The guitar solo from Circles is pretty cool too.

Dude! Dokken's Tooth & nail or Dokken's Lightning Strikes Again.
George lynch esp skulls & snakes "haji"
George Lynch tiger GL-600MT

Lol Ironic Title.

80's and epic guitar solo = as normal as Rapper + bling bling

Easy:
Want to have a romantic solo song?

Uptempo 80's song + solo

Intermediate:
Knocking on heaven's door - Guns n' roses

harder:
Van Halen - Jump
Van Halen - Eruption 1 big 80's solo looool.

Crazy:
Vai and Satch songs in their entirety.

I can almost do Satch Boogie and Surfin' With the Alien cleanly, but the Jump solo still eludes me. Am I a creep? D:

You could do Sweet Child O' Mine or Paradise City, I suppose.

If you wanna real song with a solid guitar solo try Freebird by lynyrd Skynyrd
Sweet child O' mine by GnR is a good one n all

if your looking for a generic 80's hear metal solo go rock you like a hurricane. if your looking for the purest form of 80's haggerdness it's gotta be dio's holy diver. of course if your something like a guitar magician and you just so happened to be a party animal during the early 80's i think any song by van halen is for you.

I'm aware of that, hence me finding it amusing and putting it in my sig, jesus christ.

and to everyone else thanks for the suggestions, i decided to do beat it by Michael jackson, would of done some satch but there no vocals and the singer in my group wouldn't be pleased.
