It will be plenty, at my school they once used a spider III 75w , mic'd, and the 6505 will be 3 times as loud as that.

Eh, I actually like the JCM800 though. And that's a fantastic deal. He's buying new, the least he can do is try it.

Only way he is playing an arena is if the arena had a huge pa system and he was mic'ed up..... Period

And TS 60 watts should be fine the only issue you will run into is headroom and speaker quality....
