Just a poem...acutally, Just a random assortment of words that came to my mind for no apparent reason. I like the feel of it though. I'd be very interested to hear how some of you can intpret it if you can catch any unintenional symbolism that may be in the words.


Don't fret, Madam Lanford! The Canadians are fast on their heels.
It's only a waiting game now.
Ha! only a waiting game. And this is a game we shall not lose.
For the stakes are high,
and our pride even higher.
Yes. Pride may come before the fall...but this is a game we shall not lose.

Right, lots of arrogance, and pompusness, so we're either brittish or yankee, but despite all of our pompousness we're letting another nation do the fighting, while we sit and pride ourselves on how good we are at waiting and how brave we are to be on the winning side, because, of 'course, we are.

ie. this is actually quite a good abstract poem displaying the ineptitude, hypocrisy and ignorance of the brittish empire.
