I've heard nothing but good things about Weber MASS attenuators, but I don't know if you can have them shipped to Australia or not.

Actually dude, by attenuator standards, Weber MASS are pretty cheap. And from what I've heard, much better than THD Hotplates.

Oh, and they're handbuilt, which is always a plus

Uhhh this was a while ago so the exchange rates were different. But it was 330 USD all up, i got it in a week, i think i might of gotten express fedex, you may be able to ask to use standard usps.

Yeah its a bit expensive to import it, but it saved my amp head when the impedence was wrong on my head. Theyre definately worth it, no tone suckage AT all, and it doesnt start sounding crap til you attenuate down to 6 or 7 (if you have to go that low its ridiculous)

Btw all these prices were just from my paypal account. It was 235 with a short cable USD without shipping.

Keep in mind that attenuators are not made to be used to run cranked 120 watt amps at bedroom volumes. By the time you're attenuating that much, you get so much compression and tone suckage that you're better off just playing the amp at a low master volume setting.

I guess i'll wait and see how much the 6505+ Combo is gunna be.

This, when I think attenuator, I think of running a 15-30 watt blues amp with no master.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not
