ok so i wanted to mod my blues junior and i was exploring the circuit board earlier this week. i was able to remove the board from the chassis so i could see the back of the board where i would solder the capacitors in (doing the tone stack mod). After putting the board back in i have a lot more noise and hum coming from the amp and random loss of power when playing. I'm pretty sure its from those 5 gray things coming from the tubes. how can i fix this?

probably a bad solder joint (the ones you put in) or your moving the board around cracked another solder joint...

no i haven't done the mod yet, i was just looking at the circuit board

misunderstood, sorry.

um...moving stuff around probably cracked a solder joint would be my guess. Kindof hard to tell without seeing it firsthand.

I'm at work right now, so I can't see links to photobucket and whatnot, attach it to the message!

It wont be those unless you were extremely rough with it. Those are just wires in a plastic strip.

Oh, I got what those are (don't have a pic, but the plastic strip thing helped).

I concur w/ that, probably not it.
