as the tittle says... I just got this pickup and im gonna install it in an old Ibznez GRG270DX that i have in the bridge position. Is there something i need to know? cuz the dimarzio site said things like it can be intalled in parallel and many such configs.
This is the only replacement pickup on the guitar and all the pots/electronics are stock.

so can i just disconnect the stock bridge humbucker and install this in its place without touching any other wiring? let me know
cheers

Yes you can just drop it in. The alternate wiring is possible if your pickup has four wires (1 set for each winding) It allows for parallel, or even single coil (coil splitting). Follow the MFRs instructions on wich two wires to connect to gether to get series humbucker and which two wires to connect to the guitars controls.
Moving on.....
