I have an Ibanez Roadstar II RB800 (It's from '87 I think). Recently I was replacing the battery which I haven't done for years for the pickups, and the black wire from the battery got disconnected from the pot. Problem is... I don't know where to connect it on the pot and I was wondering if you guys can help me.

Yeah, you know; Guitars are like women. They love to be played, but are a pain to maintain.

Use a flashlight or something to really light up the control cavity. With a lot of light you should be able to see the old soldering point. You said it came off a pot? Usually the battery connects to the 1/4in jack. At least it does for emgs.

They're not EMG's. They're stock pickups.
