Hi fellow UG'ers

Today I bought myself a brand new out-of-the-box Ibanez RG7 321. It plays and sounds great, except for 1 small problem. It seems that it isn't grounded properly or something, because it buzzes horribly whenever it's on the bridge PU.

It's really irritating can someone please help me out?

Thanx guys!

I'm glad he handled it calmly. Joe Satriani should realize that with only 7 notes in the world, some songs are going to sound similar.

check the wires, there might be some sort of bend in the wire, who knows.. Check if the p/u selector switch is right, and just in overall look for the ground wire, like you mentioned

If you just went and got it I wouldn't mess with it, If it was me I would take it back and just get a new one that doesn't hum.
