I recently bought an amp (carvin x100b) and the master control is broken. Mine is the 80s model and carvin will not service it. Can I replace the control with one from the new reissue or any control knob other than the original.

another thing I forgot to mention is that it is a pullout switch. If I could find a similar switch how hard would it be to replace.

lacking in distortion because it doesn't have a gain control, but sounds great. I hope the hi lead channel (the one w/ broken switch) has some more gain or I'll be looking for a pedal.
