If you're going to get a squier tele go for the custom II with the p90 pick ups, its got the best tone of the range

I enjoy my Master Series Telecaster a lot, just so long as you don't get the cheapest Telecaster model Squier offers, you'll be alright....they're decent guitars for the price.

theyre decent starter guitars but after you get better youre going to want a better guitar, i suggest getting a lower end yamaha pacifica instead
