Someone told me about neutral chords, can anyone explain what they are/how to use them?

Suspended chords. They have no 3rd, so they're tonally ambiguous.
Power chords also.

How you use them is up to you. Use your ear, because they are neutral, they can replace any chord in a progression, but use your ear, it won't always sound right.

I think you need to go bak to basics in theory, do you realise that the 3rd interval in a chord, scale or arpeggio is what defines it to be major or minor?

Do you know what an interval is?
