I know what Bass, Mids, and Treble control, but what are Presence, Resonance, and Contour? What do they control?

Contour is like middle.

then why is there a countour knob and mids knob if they change the same thing

depends on what these controls are part of.
pesence and resonance could be for reverb or any other 'modulation' effect. They all might be for your overdrive channel as well.

What amp do you have?

Presence controls the "bite" and "attack" of the sound, the more you have the more brighter it comes.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard w/ SD Alnico Pro II's
Fender Aerodyne Telecaster & Stratocaster
Marshall JCM 800 4104 combo

my amp doesn't have any of these... im just looking at amps online and was wondering what that stuff was... so presence = treble kind of and contour = mids kind of? so is resonance like bass?
