Heyy guys, is it possible to SAFELY pull two tubes out of my Marshall DSL 100 head so it runs at 50 watts? Because i know with some amps you can't do this. If you can which two do i take out?

Cheers.

1. Buy the DSL-50
2. Sell the DSL-100
3. ???
4. Profit!

Well, that would probably be what I would do.

I'd check that first. If it doesn't then I'd shoot marshall an email to make sure it's safe. 99% of the time you can do it, but for example, I know the VK100 head you can't do it because of the way it's wired up. If they say it's safe then you pull either the inner or outer tubes. You also have to double the load to the amp, so if the amp is 8 ohms, the cab needs to be 16 ohms.

That's actually a pretty good idea.
