So i'm thinking about buying a flanger or chorus pedal, 'cause i wanna get more experimental with my music, and ireally love the way these effect sound, but i haven't listened to many songs using them , soy could you please tell me some songs that use either flanger or chorus or both t the same time? Also, has anyone ever used the Ibanez CF7? Is it good?

The end solo of Jimi Hendrix's "Bold As Love" uses a studio-edited flanger effect; it's the first example that popped into my head.

A lot of EVH has flanger (or is that phaser? it's the same damn thing anyway).

For chorus, the first stuff that came into my head was almost every Nirvana song, and the bass intro to Sweet Child O Mine.

Also check out Dinosaur Jr. J Mascis has both of those effects (and more) going at like all times, especially on solos.
Telecaster - SG - Jaguar
Princeton Reverb, Extra Reverb
P-Bass - Mustang Bass
Apogee Duet 2 - Ableton Suite

I think hotel Cali is a phaser. VH uses both flange and phase. Chorus would be the the intro to pull me under and knockin on heavens door(gnr version)

Alot of Police songs use chorus and flange.

You should probably mug John Frusciante or Ritchie Blackmore. They're small guys, we could take 'em.

Just look out for that other guy in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Will Farrel. He's a tall mofo, got a long reach.

I thought it might be. For some reason I can never tell the two apart.

Listening to their clean sound makes me want to grab a towel and a hair-dryer.

It somehow conjures an image in my head of spilling a bucket of mercury or a taking a hit of acid and going sailing.

A great number of 80's New Wave bands used chorus effects on clean guitars for a deeper, lusher sound. Ideas that come to mind are Echo and the Bunnymen, The Church, Asylum.

No. Everybody dies. And one day, given that your relationship doesn't crash and burn like so many do, one of you will end up deep in sorrow while watching the other one die.

pretty much all of van halen 1, mxr phase 90
unchained, and the cradle will rock, mxr flanger
the police, roland ce1 chorus

pretty much any 80's rock artist has used chorus. i like the mxr stereo chorus or boss ch1.

flanging is a thicker type of chorus, or chorus is a lighter kind of flanging?

ibanez cf7 is second in crapness to the digitech multi voice.

cant go wrong with a boss ch1 for a cheapy.
