Hey guys,
So yeah well here's another what guitar would you recommend me kind of thread...
I'm looking for a good guitar between 500$ and 800$.

I'd like it to be mahogany or adler body.
Rosewood or ebony neck.
Preferably active pickups.
Preferably 24 frets.
No floyd rose.

It'll be my main metal axe and I'm going to run this guitar through a peavey 6505+.

Don't even bother about schecters, I've tried many and don't like the feel.

I'm open to your suggestions.

Thanks a lot!

If you want something that's gonna sound great in metal styling and also look the part, go for a B.C. Rich WMD (of some sort) or a high end ESP. Dean's are pretty terrible (plus they've got about 13 frets) and signature models of any brand are too narrow sounding, and also suck. Go for Either B.C. Rich or ESP and you won't go wrong.
Gear;
- B.C. Rich Warbeast Bloodbound
- B.C. Rich NT Zombie 5-String Bass
- BOSS GT-10 Multi Effects TANK!
...In other words, I'm taking a giant dump on fender owners who use pods.

Yeah well I'm not really a big fan of BC Rich.

Are there any Ibanez that could do the job?

I don't think Ibanez makes alot of mahogany guitars with that distinctive sound. I have a RG550 and I can get some crunch out of it, but its much better suited for leads and shred.
