Don't think you can there bud, and if you'd looked at the Painting Help thread that is stickied, you may not have had to make a thread. Anyway, that is curly maple I believe with a transparent paint job, so no I don't think you can achieve this with regular spray paint, unless there's a new type of spray paint that can do that?

the wood type is right, but every time i try and paint it the wood never shows through it just disappears behind the paint. i was just wondering if there was a special paint or method used to keep the wood showing through.
