Regarding the springs behind the bridge on a standard MIM strat, would tightening said strings to enable the use of 10-52 strings (which i did), produce any ill effects after re-stringing the instrument with standard 10-46's? (which i also did)

I only ask as tomorow im going to take the guitar in to a store as the higher notes above the 12th frets (on every string) are always slightly (20cents or so) out of tune even after really accurate tuning and want to know if the tightened state of the springs is worth mentioning?

Other than this all i can think of is the intonation being off (or if im being really pessimistic a warped neck or truss rod issue)... help.

there is every likelihood that intonation and truss rod will need adjustment after changing string gauge.
I've been imitated so well I've heard people copy my mistakes.
