Hey All xD
Alrite let me get to the point.
Me and my friends from school have formed a band.
We are mainly Trash, melodic kind of stuff.
We havent made any of our original stuff yet although we have a few riffs and lyrics.

I wanted to know if we should start of doing covers of other bands and then get onto our original stuff or do only original stuff, or both?

Help Thnx

PS.Dont mind the Thread area as i dint know where to put it

Do a little of both, mix it up.
Of course try not to get too involved into doing covers, it might make your original work suffer.

Doing covers will help show your musicianship and youll have fun. But its the originals that really matter

Start with covers, and that will provide you with some stage experience and inspiration to write your own stuff,

just be confident, do what you feel is right, and take things one step at a time!
