sorry 2 piss u guys off

im buying a new amp, i dont gig and i dont really want tubes (im not changing my mind)

im lookin at the Vox VT30 (the latest one, i cant keep up with the models).

I just would like 2 hear some opinions on it

Also, what WAH pedal would suit this amp (£80 max for wah)

EDIT: Is it worth paying a bit more for the 50 watt version?

thanks

It has a tube, are you sure you want to look at it? Just pointing that out.

You failed to state your budget.

And do tell why you don't want a tube amp...

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

Budget 100-200 pounds, play metal and hard rock

from pink floyd to metallica (sorry for not mentioning this earlier)

dunno if you could get the 50 with your budget, but I almost got one, they are good amps, but if you play a lot of metal id also recommend checking out the peavey vyper and the roland cube.

Every single one of those are great amps, probably the best SS amps out there.

Its not about the Radio its about talent, the front man has a bigger vocal range than Micheal Jackson and he can sing from heavey metal to high pitched ...No.12 on the top 20 under rated guitarists of ALL TIME...etc

1-Bloodavian 0-Forkman.

Undoubtedly not the best solid state amps out there, but a good suggestion in this thread's context

well, comin from the guy that owns this amp: I personally love it and it's good for pretty much anything if you mess around with the settings for a little while. and a wah... (btw, there is auto wah in the amp, but i dislike it very much..) so i play a dunlop original crybaby through it and it sounds pretty damn good...

Still have it!

Should have my G-Flex sold by tonight, so it might be up for sale soon, don't want to sell it until I sell the other 2x12 though
