I used the search bar and couldn't find anything, also i thought that it was best to put this here rather than the promote your band forum.

I thought it would be cool to have a thread for posting all your live vids for others to comment/rate. The best way to do it would just put them on a site like youtube.com and then put a link up on here and if it goes well i might even use this post to put all the links up for the videos.

Zakk.

This was a nice feature our local network station did on us last year or so, which includes some live footage.

I'm the singer/guitarist and the guy in the interview.

Could I get some more talent in the monitors, please?

I know it sounds crazy, but try to learn to inhale your voice. www.thebelcantotechnique.com

Heyy guys, sorry iv took so long to reply.

Willstrats44: I must say i really did like that song! The vocal melodys were quite catchy, my only gripes is i didn't think that the riff after the second chorus really fit that well tbh but other than that it was great.

Axemanchris: That was cool of them to give you a few minutes of the show
I take it the gig went well then

I was nice of them, yes.

The gig went quite well... Dave Rave generally draws a good crowd here in Hamilton.

Really enjoying these, genuinely surprised by the quality. I've seen the name Axemanchris around the recording forums, but it's weird to put a face to it...

Dodgy cover of Freebird at our jam night, unfortunately this video misses out our trademark reggae verses...

I'm the bloke in the middle with the butchered Tele by the way.

Not sure if this works, (damn parental blocker on this borrowed computer won't let me watch any vids) but if it does, tell me what you think.

If it doesn't, if you cross reference 'Slack Babbath' with 'Lochgelly' and google it, I'm told there are quite a few from this particular show out there.

That was pretty good!

The only quarrel I might have if I went to see you guys is that nobody really looks like they're from Black Sabbath except the singer, but thats just me.

These are some pretty cool vids! I'll see if I can find any of my band's kicking around town... not sure if we've recorded any shows though.

No, honestly, I'm just a soundalike. We've been accused of cheating by getting the real Ozzy to sing for us before but it's all just lies, lies I tell you. This band is 100% tribute with non of that 'real member' stuff!

Truth be told, it kinda bugs me as well, although it's not something I've mentioned to the band for a long time.
The rest of the guys used to dress up like the originals with wigs and stuff, but it got to the point where the wigs and stuff were really putting the other guys off their playing (try having a skinhead for most of your life then wearing a long wig for an energetic gig, the hair ends up stuck to your face and it's very distracting)
I realise though that without the wigs they play and perform better, so as long as they wear black on stage, that's fine by me because I'd rather lose some of the look than some of the playing ability.

These are all pretty swish guys

I should hopfully have a few vids up after monday

Make your voice go nasaly (hold your nose if you can't do this naturally) and make your mouth go as wide as you can, as if you're grinning and put on a fake American accent.

Try it and sing along to an Ozzy or Sabbath tune, it really works.

Jeezus!
Although I'm obviously flattered, and I know you guys appreciate the advice, but you must realise that the advice I've given in the bandleading threads is nothing special, it's just the common sense that you aquire after a cirtain amount of time as a working musician. Ask any musician of my age and you'll get similar advice.

For this reason and because the guy genuinly gives damn good advice that even I learn from, I do feel that If I get an appreciation group, then axemanchris should get one too.
