Instead of Bruce who'd you propose to do the Super Bowl half-time show?

Now, keep in mind that the NFL would want a safe choice. An artist or group that has universal appeal and will put on a good show.

Van Halen?

Gorgoroth, and they could play a medley of gentle pop ballads.

If you could get led zeppelin to reunite for one show there, that'd be cool.

Popular band I like - Foo Fighters, everyone loves the Foo Fighters.
Not so popular band I want to play at super bowl - Opeth (**** I'd watch them play anywhere...)
#8
Bruce was pretty meh...
Yeah Van Halen would've been great. Maybe, Aerosmith or Bad Co.

Aerosmith would be cool, without ****ing N'sync this time!

You could never go wrong with David Gilmour.

I was just coming in here to say this. Gilmour would rock.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, although I doubt that they'd want to do the Superbowl.
There ain't no moral to this story at all. Anything I tell you very well could be a lie.

My answer to questions like this will almost always be the Foo Fighters.

But Springsteen was pretty sweet. I'm glad the NFL isn't letting MTV get their hands on the half-time shows anymore.

John Bonham's very stubborn about reunions, I'm afraid.

This is true.

I thought prince was pretty awesome a few years back.

Let's remember that they would probably only like American artists to be on the bill...

RHCP performed at the Nascar All-Star race in Charlotte a few years ago. Surely they would consider the Superbowl if asked...

I don't really think that matters as long as the performers are really popular in America, U2, Sting, The Stones, Paul McCartney and Shania Twain have all performed.

oh and David Gilmour is nowhere near popular enough.

Yea because they didn't just have the Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney in the past few years, genius.

Foo Fighters would be good just because they're highly popular but make REAL music.

Steve Miller Band would be awesome imo, I wish I could have seen them this summer. I had the opportunity to go for free, but I had to work instead.

Not popular enough. Are they any good without Phil anyway..?

Yeah they are sort of plain vanilla and bland, but they are a lot better than a lot of the other half time acts the Superbowl has Had.

Yeah they'd be good. Especially since they started getting popular again with their new album an all.
